We have been busy since early 2023 making hundreds of pounds for local charities simply by meeting up to socialise as health and safety professionals.

Most health and safety professionals, in SMEs are usually the only member of their team dealing with many different challenges, often challenges outside of the health and safety field. The idea behind the social is to give health and safety professionals a place to meet, discuss work topics, make new connections and connect with friends from the profession where the opportunity presents itself.
A lot of people attending the safety social keep coming back, because it is a welcoming atmosphere full of people who ‘get it’. Other people can answer questions and we can support each other with various professional specialisms. From the social we have been able to readily refer clients and employers to specialist professionals we have met from the events, making life easier for everyone around us.
By keeping the events in the North West of England we are able to focus our efforts on local growth for SMEs and self employed individuals.

The best bit about the socials is that we raise money, each and every time, for the town in which we hold our social event, so far raising hundreds of points for local charities, where every penny makes a difference. Giving us all a feel good factor knowing we are making a different by small gestures.
